Traci was born in Spokane, Washington, growing up dreaming among the trees and lakes of the Pacific Northwest. Family always surrounded her and they spent countless hours together swimming, camping, and boating.
Her earliest influences were her books. To this day, she continues to cherish many of them, especially her Serendipity books illustrated by Robin James.
Knowing she wanted to be an artist from a very early age, Traci moved to Seattle and began her journey at The School of Visual Concepts. She took every class she could, from oil painting and color theory to figure drawing and pastel. There, she found out her true love lies in watercolor.
Today, she continues to dream among the trees and lakes with her husband, two daughters, and rough collie named Jasper. Their favorite pastimes include camping with friends, playing on the beaches of the Pacific, and boating on Lake Washington and the Puget Sound.
