Francesca was born in Italy and grew up in a little town close to Milan. Since she was a child her mind was always made up to becoming an illustrator.
Thus several years later, with this genuine desire, she started her studies at the “Milan School of Comics” making her dream come true. Her main works are illustrations for children books and newspapers, a field in which she has freelanced since 2016. In October 2018 her first illustrated book, “Il salice che smise di piangere”, was published by “Il Ciliegio edizioni”.
She still loves to experiment with new techniques and to broaden her horizons in the arts field. In fact she spent 2 years as a fashion graphic designer in a studio based in Milan and now lives in England, surrounded by countryside and horses: a perfect place to draw inspiration from. In her spare time she paints pottery, she does embroidery works and experiments in the kitchen.
