Brianna is an illustrator from rural central Virginia. She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, but dreams of the deserts of the Southwest. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2017.
From the time she could hold a crayon, Brianna has spent her days drawing countless horses and dinosaurs. As a child, any educational book featuring lovingly drawn animals and landscapes ended up in her hands and was quickly devoured. She still loves to read about science, nature, and the Wild West. At her family’s daycare center, she teaches children of all ages history facts, handy skills, and over-the-top craft projects.
In her free time, she loves to hike and explore the mountains and woods of the East Coast. An
outdoorsman at heart, she frequently uses these excursions to scour for mushrooms, nuts, pawpaws, and other wild edibles to cook up at home. She’s currently working on illustrating her
own recipe cards for future reference. When not drawing at the campfire, you can find her at home tending her community garden plot or practicing her hand lettering.
