Angela Navarra
Angela is a New Jersey-born, Italian-bred graphic designer and illustrator. She has received recognition for her work in publications including Print Magazine and Communication Arts. She is psychotically passionate about typography and revels in any opportunity to use her hand-lettering skills. Angela has been creating art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. She began drawing on cardboard, floors, furniture, and her baby sister. She works with mechanical pencils, ink, calligraphy markers, acrylic paint and home-made textures. When she is not working she enjoys singing in cars, imitating her cats, conversing in Italian, using the word “ninja” as a verb and traveling to new places. Currently, Angela lives in Weehawken, New Jersey with her programmer husband, Dom, baby boy Maddox, and their two frisky cats Ollie and Lola
