Alex Lopez
Born in 1976 in Sabadell, a city near Barcelona (Spain), Alex Lopez started to draw when he was a child but it wasnt until he was in his twenties that he considered illustrating to be a real profession. Alex studied a comic-book course at Art School and it was there, apart from learning some drawing techniques, that he started to connect with the professional world of illustration. Now he has over 15 years of experience as a professional illustrator. His work and books have been published in many countries: USA, UK, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Turkey... Alex really enjoys creating comic-books and cartoon style pictures, trying to bring life and movement to his creations as if it were an animated movie. He has also created illustrations for educational books, marketing and video games, mostly for children and teenagers. Alex is capable of adapting his style easily and he is often asked What is his secret? His answer is simple listening to music and eating chocolate
