Dang Khoa Tran
Khoa was born in Da Lat, a small highland city in Vietnam mingled between hills of pine forests. His inspiration derives from the Vietnamese ethnic cultures and costumes, thus affecting the way he uses colors in his artworks: vibrant and fresh, modern, full of positive energy. He had the opportunity to participate in many charity activities such as offering gifts to the poor and local orphans on special occasions like public festivals, Christmas, New Year… when his parents sent him to a church close to home; funds raise for forest conservations through crafts making and planting trees are also some other things that he experienced. All of the above has solidified his gratitude for life and sense of care for people. If he wasn’t an artist, he would have become a psychotherapist or any other discipline that helps to heal people since happiness of those around him is his joy of life.
