Lisa Vannini
Lisa Vannini is an Italian illustrator with a degree in Japanese Studies who decided they were probably better off as an artist after getting lost on a sacred mountain in Kyoto for six hours. After a master’s in Art Direction at Idea Academy of Rome, they started working as a concept artist in animation, before landing in the publishing industry in 2020. Lisa specializes in everything that is magical, mysterious, and out of the ordinary. Their work is inspired by nature, European folklore, and their own heritage. In their spare time, they enjoy watching Korean horror movies with their cat Moka, traveling to remote locations chasing after spooky folk tales, and making up new tea blends with their own dried herbs. Whenever they're stressed they end up buying a new plant.
