Melyana was born and raised in Indonesia. Drawing is her way of creating good memories. Mely’s father had a huge impact on her love for illustration and career choice. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in visual communication design in 2021 and she is currently based in a small town in Tasikmalaya, where she enjoys her life as a freelance illustrator. Mely loves working on character design and has a strong interest in children’s book illustration. She is mostly working digitally but also enjoys the traditional color pencil while she pays great attention to storytelling in her illustrations.
