Victoria Layne
Victoria Layne Lowman was born in Kazan, Russia. After she was adopted, she moved to Illinois, where she was raised before she relocated to and settled in Indiana. Growing up, Victoria fell in love with the glamor and extravagance of historical Hollywood and fashion, such as Audrey Hepburn and Haute Couture. She is also deeply inspired by fairytales. Anything with an interesting monster/villain, she's hooked. Two of her favorite stories are Frankenstein and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Victoria's work is heavily character-based, emphasizing expression and personality. She loves developing characters through shape and color, and making them the focal point. Extravagance is key in Victoria's work, and she tries to bring drama and storytelling through all her designs. She works digitally on projects but enjoys using traditional techniques in her free time. Outside of work, she loves cooking vegetarian dishes, traveling with her husband, and reading romantic dramas.
